CVC
About CVC
CVC is a global private equity firm investing across international markets. I worked on DealOS, a generative AI chatbot enabling investment officers to research CVC's vast repository of past deals, compare transactions, and dive into deal documentation. As CVC's first product design hire, I owned both UX and UI, delivering an on-brand design system built for agentic development.

Domain Immersion
When I joined the AI team at CVC, the DealOS tool was in an early, low-fidelity BETA state. I conducted an end-to-end UX audit of the platform, documenting UX improvement opportunities. I researched private equity tooling, studied best-practice conversational search, and spent time understanding the role and needs of investment officers.

BETA to Launch
Ahead of launching the tool internally, I identified a batch of quick wins for improving the UI, namely, consistent and disciplined use of colour and typography, plus the introduction of an icon library. During this phase we conducted A/B testing on future features: sharing different approaches with investment officers and iterating on their feedback.

Handing-off to Claude Code
With agentic development at the core of CVC's build process, I built and maintained a component library specifically structured for Claude Code to read and implement directly (via the Figma MCP server). I used Claude Code to rapidly explore and prototype new feature ideas as part of ongoing R&D, accelerating iteration without sacrificing design consistency. Beyond the design system itself, I also designed and oversaw production of a promotional video for internal communications, helping build momentum and understanding of DealOS across the wider organisation.
