About Zuntold
Zuntold offers a unique fiction-based mental health support platform for young people. Before our engagement, Zuntold had a functional but scrappy MVP which presented some user experience friction. While they had exciting ideas for new features, details weren't fully documented or brought to life, making it challenging for their development team to accurately estimate build time and cost for future enhancements.

Ideas brought to life
A key part of my role with Zuntold was translating the founders' feature ideas into clear, tangible design artifacts. Through collaborative workshops, skecthes and wireframing, we explored potential new features and teased out critical details - considering all user types (young person, clinician, admin). Deliverables included detailed sitemaps, wireframes and interactive prototypes demonstrating end-to-end user flows. This process brought their vision to life and enabled the team to better discuss product strategy and build a clear roadmap, whilst helping engineers to accurately estimate the time and cost required of development.

Comprehensive UX/UI Overhaul
Once we’d established a new architecture and defined the core feature set, I went about overhauling the visual design of the platform. I created a comprehensive suite of responsive web templates – ensuring a consistent and accessible experience across devices. This work significantly raised the overall design standard of the platform, including refining the brand's application through adjustments to typography, color palettes, and the introduction of engaging illustration.

Strategic Product Support
Beyond tangible design deliverables, I provided ongoing strategic advice and guidance to Zuntold. I offered insights on user acquisition strategies, optimising subscription flows, the addition of notifications for retention, and the development of a complementary marketing site to communicate their value proposition effectively.
